To Live of Love

To live of love is to sail afar and bring both peace and joy where'er I be. O Pilot blest! Love is my guiding star; in every soul I meet, Thyself I see. Safe sail I on, through wind or rain or ice; love urges me, love conquers every gale. High on my mast behold is my device: 'By love I sail!' - st. therese

take a little walk with me

my parents are lovely. they sent me a camera after I gave up and accepted the fact that mine was officially stolen and gone. since then, I've tried to take the time to stop and take pictures of the sights of my daily life here. It has become so normal to me, but I don't want what is magnificent and such a blessing to become monotonous and taken-for-granted. So this is my attempt.

One of my favorite spots in Vienna, in the square right outside the Franciscan O.F.M Church where I went to Church often this summer

Taborstrasse (the main road near our house) looking towards the Danube and Schwedenplatz. That big thing on the left is the new Sofitel Hotel.

everyday as im walking down Taborstrasse, the main street intersecting the street where we live, I get to stand with Mary at the foot of the cross. Its so easy to walk right under it, to walk right by it, but sometimes its really moving to stop and realize that in your daily life you stand there too.
